Damn, that's a good question. It is more difficult than at first glance. My first thought was bride and groom, but that doesn't tell the whole story. My answer would depend on your punctuation in your question. Does the pair of blue jeans stand alone as one choice? Do the knife, fork and spoon go together to make one choice? I'm looking forward to reading other's answers.
A diploid cell has both x and y chromosomes. A haploid only has either an x or a y.

A bride and groom I supposed. A male has an X and a Y chromosome (instead of two X chromosomes a female has). So they are both different and there are two of them, both come from different places (Y from father, X from mother..).
