Mexicans have been discriminated against for the last 30 to 40 years. So if you are in a latin neighborhood and they see you as non-mexican or gringo or white, they might feel like you dont like them, so they will not like you.

American mexicans are very different from Mexicans from Mexico. Actually most mexicans that I meet are very nice. Keep in mind, that Im Italian as well.

Try to talk to them in spanish, and see if that helps. Everytime I talk to them in spanish, i notice they appreciate the effort. But at that age, most kids are too young too realize how rude they can truly be. If it stays, leave them alone or tell their parents, as no little kid likes a mexican beat down!

Why Are Mexicans So Rude

Most Mexican Rancheros are rude because of there poor education from there country then there children born in America are know it all's because they have to help there stupid parents so much that they become overly proud, also Mexican ranchero men think more with there balls then there brain and they control there wife's and can be very abusive. The men do not like there wife's to be more educated than them and yes that is why most Mexican ranchero women do not drive thanks to there husbands poorly controlled decisions. They have a lot of old beliefs and most of the time are very closed minded to change of the times. Let me just say that it really as a lot to do with there education because a well educated Mexican can very sophisticated and professional and very nice and respectful and there are a lot of those people out there but most of them still live in the city of Mexico with good jobs or they may live here and act just like you and me and are almost not even identified as a Mexican I know both kinds I have also been married and am still married to my Guatemalan husband who can here illegally at the age of 25 and he is a completely different part of culture. I have professionally work with great Mexican people and our neighbors are rancheros always killing there chickens to eat that run all over our yard the don't speak a lick of English and don't care about educating themselves and have 8 wild German shepherds running there un-kept yard yes it is sad when I always have to speak Spanish with them and there 3 kids a the translators in which the oldest has to help the younger ones with school homework because the parents can't read or write or speak English. Well it is all about education and not just for Mexican but for every culture and every race. Right!

Not all Mexicans are rude. What there doing is wrong but thats just kids being kids. As they get older they'll realize what their doing is wrong and they won't do it to anyone anymore. I'm Mexican American and I'm really friendly and my dads family is Mexican and there really friendly too. Try being friends or talking with them? If that doesn't work talk to your parents about it. In my old neighborhood I was harrassed by the neighbor kids and they were white. Then one day my father went and talked to there parents and everything was fine afterwords.

Hi there! please do not sterotype all mexicans for a couple of little, probably traumatized kids, who were most certainly not even mexican in the first place. I am totally nice and polite and respectful and I am mexican living in Mexico, and whenever I travel abroad I like to be even nicer and more polite. So think twice before badmouthing a whole country for some teenagers.

Sounds more like a problem with having a new neighbor. Kids can be cruel to new people to a neighborhood or school. Some of them are real jerks.

The Mexicans who threw sand at you are jerks too. There are many more nice Mexicans than the ones who tried to ruin it for you.

Just focus on the people who are nice to you--you'll find them to be of all colors, shapes, and sizes. Be accepting of them, not because of their ethnicity, but because they treat you with respect. Treat them with respect too!

Good luck!

If one in all the different replies is actual about the which technique of Nalga....then perhaps you would artwork on your own Spanish pronounciation and perhaps that's going to keep your "Nalga" out of warm water next time! MY Mexicans are pricey and worthwhile and take care of me with the most appreciate, I smile when I attempt to talk with them of their language even even with the reality that i comprehend I make many blunders. ....forgive and ignore, study , practice and pass on...let's seek for the answer to international peace or some thing powerful!

ok...if you were in the US, chances are those people were chicanos, or...hispanic americans, and not mexicans. i am a teacher, and many of my new students tell me this as well. they say these kids call them wetbacks and all kinds of mean names. you just have to ignore them. they are kids. they don't speak for all mexicans, they just speak for stupid kids. don't let them bother you. they may feel threatenned that you are more "intouch" with your heritage than they are, perhaps a better spanish speaker, i don't know...but don't worry about it. it's not "mexicans," it's kids.

also, the fact that you are venezuelan and italian...well, you may know this already...but the way the class systems work, and all of that...these kids may feel intimidated by you (but they shouldn't.) and that's why they are being mean, because they have ideas about you and who you are, that might not be true.
