i don't hate emo people, i don't even really know any emo people , i'm just sick of hearing about them all the time, if ur an emo person fine good for u , but does everybody got hear about it all the time cause i don't really care

for the most part Emos are pretty self centered, no one wants to hang around people like that. No one likes to hear whining, or have to be worried about someone ALL the time.

Well there's something wrong with emo's if they cut themselves...but if their the type of emo who don't cut themselves then their ok

theres something wrong with wanting to have a label.
whats the point? "emo" isnt a way of life. its feelings. straight edge is a way of life. thug is a way of life. emo isnt.
u'll be over it after you get out of high school.
i did. i used to be "emo". dont really care nemore. still listen to the music, but dont care about the label.

I like people with different personalities...too many people are going mainstream! I think the reason why there is so much hate is because of the way they dress/express themselves(for example- "different"hairstyles, and dark clothes/makeup).

I think it might be because they look like women...it IS rather awkward! I mean, they wear women's clothing and they have really long hair that is all different colors and cut funny in the front so it hangs in their faces and they always scream in their songs, which is also irritating, and they talk about cutting themselves and doing stupid things.
Perhaps that's why. Also, they don't really seem to like religious types, that bothers me most. Hate the sin, not the sinner...

Yeah. They are downers. They are boring, strange and depressing to me. I don't hate them, but I wouldn't seek them out as friends or partners.
