In England they had a similar idol and the worst person won that competition eventually underminding the entire show.

from what I heard on the news... there is a huge calling center in India that phones in millions of votes for Sanjaya since Sanjaya is Indian, and there are also sights like votefortheworst.com and you can vote well, for the worst- just to make a mockery of Idol.... which stinks.

I am so sick of people talking about Sanjaya! Doesn't anyone have anything better to do? I sure do. I could think of a million things that I'd rather do then talk about him. Sure, I lvoe the show, but I'm just so sick of hearing about him.

it is called voting for ur favorite and yes probably every person of india ethniticity in the USA is voting for him and all the teeny boppers too

i think because everybody likes his hairstyles. i mean, one week he had it super-curly, then straightened it, then did a ponytial mowhawk, and finally had his hair slicked down. he knows he can't stay on much longer, so he does all these funky styles. (AI is suddenly all about looks, and not about singing or talent.)
