30 years ago mine cost $175. It is done in a urologists office with a local and takes about 1/2 hr total. Then if you are smart, you drive right home, lay down and wear an ice pack for the rest of the day. The next day it is as if nothing happened. They will want a specimen in a week or two to make sure it worked

at the time that my husband got his done the cost was $200. We had insurance and paid $40 plus prescription cost for a valium and preventative antibiotics you can go to planned parenthood if you do not have insurance and they can usually refer you to someone and help pay for it.

They are cheaper than vasectomies, that's because the don't use a vise.
