Hands down the best receipe ever. Try it once and I promise you you'll make it again and again.

Coat chicken breast in egg. Dip chicken into 2/3 cups Progresso Herb Bread Crumbs and 2/3 cups grated parmasean cheese. Make sure they coat well. Pan fry the chicken until brown and cooked all the way through. Once finished place in oven for 15 minutesat 350. Put sliced mozzarella cheese on top during the last 5 mins of cooking.

Serve with pasta and sauce. It's delicious and the chicken keeps it's juiciness! It's soooo good!

Although chicken parmisan is, technically speaking, a non-pasta dish, it is rarely ordered without pasta. So, it is chicken (usually two boneless breasts) on a bed of spaghetti (although I have heard of it on the very thin macaroni). The next ingredient is the sauce - probably the ingredient that "makes or breaks" the whole creation. There is a split of opinion as to whether the chicken must be breaded (breading the chicken can sometimes ruin the whole dish). If you are making it for the first time, it would probably be best to postpone the breading until you feel confident about everything else.
Start by making the spaghetti, since it takes longer. Do the chicken any way you feel comfortable. Buy a middle-priced tomato or spaghetti sauce (thicker is better than thin). I have heard that sauce with something it it, like mushrooms, is preferred. Top it with parmasani cheese (that's where the name of the dish comes from) - the best (but most expensive) is the shredded cheese in the dairy section. Sounds complicated, but it is very easy - and if you make a mistake, you can always say it is your individual way of making it.
