With Take That.... 'Pray' in the Uk. They never had a #1 in the US, even with 'Back For Good' reaching only #7.
Solo..... 'Millenium' in the UK, and not yet in the US

Williams' pop career started with pop band Take That. The band was formed in 1990, they scored ten number-one hits (seven of them when Williams was in the band, one without him before they split and two since they reformed again as a four piece in 2006).

The song, apart from becoming a hit around Europe and Latin America and selling almost 2 million copies worldwide, it led to rocketing the sales of his album, reaching the number-one position on its 28th week inside the charts, the album remained forty weeks inside the British top ten albums and 218 weeks altogether, making the album the 58th Best Selling Album in UK History with sales over the 2.4 Million.

Millennium 1998 Angels never made it to number one it made number 2 but Angels was the song that made his career take off big time!!
