I'd go for Scrubs over Friends, because I think even though Friends has been going for longer, Scrubs has more of an opportunity to last. With it being set in a hospital, there's more opportunities for new characters, wheras Friends is centralised around the 6 main characters, but Scrubs still has it's main cast. Give it time, and I'm sure it'll become almost as well known!

SCRUBS. No real question. The writers have gotten rid of the sound effects, afat from when it's people's fantasies. It's also filmed in a real hospital getting rid of the laughter tack... sorry Live Audience, and LAUGH sign that Friends had when jokes were said.
As you can tell I'm not a big Friends fan. Infact I always question shows that have laughter you can hear. it makes me think that there was no real audience and it's just a laughter track. SCRUBS lets YOU react to when you fid a joke funny.
Also The writers of Scrubs have decsided that there was going to be only seven series of Scubs, knowing that it may welll run out of jokes. Friends ran out of steam around series 5.
