So, being stuck working on Easter, I stop by Subway to find something "relatively" healthly to eat. I ask the guy to put onions and peppers on the sandwich with the meat before toasting it.
The guy tells me "Subway does not recommend toasting veggies as they did a company study that proves they can splinter in you stomach and lead to rupture of your intestines"..
What? I figured he was kidding and he told me no, Subway requires them to tell customers that who ask for toasted sandwiches.
Is this a way to scare people away for Quizno's or what?
I have been eating toasted and roasted veggies for year.
This sounds crazy!

So far, I totally agree with you all... I am searching the web to find this somewhere. I am going to call Subway Customer Service tomorrow.. This just plain sounds foolish!
