Home... after being away and in someone else's home.
It used to be my children's, and my ex husband's personal smells, when they were young, and he, was still my partner. Now they are long gone into life with children of their own, and he is gone forever.
Memory persists though, of my children freshly bathed and snug in bed, as I tucked them in, I'd kiss them all and smell their hair. Those same smells, still linger in my mind, affording me the best feeling in the world. Just like their smells stayed in our home, long after they had left. I loved that too.

my personal fav is got to be freshly ground coffee beans, or the first wiff of aroma when you use the can open on a new can of coffee...nothing smells better to me..lol
