I have very dark brown and curly hair and really large blue eyes, heavy lids, and naturally long eyelashes. I really think this is quite pretty but I would like to make my eyes a bit more dramatic, like really stand out, and make the contrast with my hair more distinctive. I am not very pale and not very dark, medium, I guess. also, are there any lipstick or lipgloss colours that would help with this? what lipstick should I choose? I have what i have learned is called "rosebud-shaped" lips. thank you very much.

You sound gorgeous!! Must be nice ... :-) I think you should stick with your natural beauty ... but I can understand wanting some tips.

For eyes ... I think some medium brown eyeliner would be pretty ... not much, but on the edges of your upper and bottom lids would be a pretty touch. You could also put a thin line on your upper lashline and leave the bottom alone ... then curl your already-long lashes and put on mascara for a va-va-voom look!

For lips ... a pretty berry pink tone would be great. Sounds like a sultry red would also fit well with your face tones as well.

Hope this helps!

Flattering make up colors depend on your skin tone - warm or cool. I'm not sure exactly which one you are so here's a link to the makeup section of cosmeticscop.com: http://cosmeticscop.com/learn/makeup.asp?ID=345

This section has an article about determing your skin tone and how to apply different eye shadow designs.

Some nearly universal shade of lip colors that I think might work for you are:

1) Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (sheer deep wine) or Almost Red (sheer cherry for cool tones)

2) BeneFit Lipstick in Birthday Suit (sheer redwood)

3) Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Cherries in the Glow ( a soft, easy to wear red - "your lips but better")

The idea is to enhance your natural lip color but not have it compete w/ your blue eyes.

Brown brings out blue so I'd recommend a dark brown eyeliner against the top lash line w/ dark brown/black mascara. For evening, you might want to try black mascara w/ a deep navy mascara at the tips. (BeneFit BADgal Blue - designed to make white of eyes look brighter. http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/product/B000KYXEBI/sr=1-1/qid=1176070593/ref=sr_1_1/002-6666193-3169661?ie=UTF8&n=164991011&bcBrand=core)

You will probably want to wear a lighter shade of eye shadow on the lower section your lid and a darker shade below and slightly above the crease. ex. nude on lid w/ neutral brown around crease & dark brown as eyeliner (NYX color trio -nude/taupe/dark brown)

For your eyeshadow you should use a shimary gold, but not too much or it will look really weird. That should bring out your eyes more. For your lip gloss all you need is a clear gloss that will make it look shiny.

hope it works!

I think a berry colored lipgloss would work well. And use mascara to make those gorgeous eyes pop!
