You could say I hope all goes well for them but does it really matter? Good luck is the same. I do not see why it bugs the crap out of you. Fiber does that to me.

If I am going gambling I do not want to hear those words. I am not superstitious about anything else but gambling I am. I take no one w/me and I never let anyone sit on my right. OH, I throw salt over my left shoulder if I spill it. For the love of Pete, I think I am superstitious.

doesnt bug me, just words I guess, however depending on the context it could be taken as " you wont succeed without luck" which is more of a discouragement or insult to the level of skill or knowledge I may have.

Not really, only if they mean it in a bad way......I always say "good luck" when being sarcastic, and most people don't mind.

I hate it when people say "calm down" God that gets my blood boiling.

Yes, for a couple of reasons. My luck sux. Also it's a lot like them asking, "How are you", when they really couldn't care less about you.

You mean after they comment? Then Yes. It's almost like they are saying you have bad luck now. Makes me angry just thinking about it.
