There are a thousand millilitres to each litre.
So, if you know how many grams of something you have in a millilitre, then just multiply that by a thousand and you will have your answer. I hope you know, grams are a measure of weight, and millilitres that of volume.

a 55.0 gal drum is weighed twice. The drum weighs 75.0 lb when empty and 437.5 lb when filled with acetone. What is the density of acetone expressed in grams per milliliter? --------------------------------------... understand, this is only approximate... (437.5 lb - 75 lb tare wt)/55 gallons = 362.5/75 = 6.59 lb/gallon. (6.59 lb x 453.5 g/lb)/3785 ml/gallon x 1 gallon = 2908 grams/3785 grams = 0.768 g/ml (WIKI says 0.791, so the calculated answer is a little low- as I said, approximate.)

1g/1000ml = 1g/1L (since 1L=1000ml)
so your conversion factor is 1/1000 or .001
Multiply your amount by your conversion facrtor for your new answer.
