You may wish to rethink your plan. First, record labels do not accept unsolicited material. Not now, not ever. Unsolicited material goes immediately into the trash. Why? Well, if they did listen to the million and one submissions sent to them it would make them liable should they ever publish anything similar to some demo sent to them. By not listening to anything, no one can claim that the record label ripped them off. It saves them from thousands of frivolous lawsuits. I know this to be a fact.

If you do have some songs that you believe in, hire some professionals to help you flush the tunes out. Take it into a good studio and have it professionally recorded. Next, get yourself a respected music attorney. You'll need one anyway because the record label doesn't want to waste any time trying to explain all the legal jargon to you and would insist you have an attorney. An attorney can broker your stuff to labels but it better be good or they wont do it. Sometimes, a respected manager with a lawyer on staff can work too. Same as before though, the stuff better be good or no one will want to embarrass themselves brokering your stuff.

Hope that helps.

Ok, get on your knees and pray really hard for at least 24 hours, or longer if at all possible.
Continue this for forty days and forty nights.
If God doesn't come to your aid, either you are not worthy, or he doesn't frigging exist. Either way, they you become an atheist like me.
