1stly let each of em know that its now about choosing sides, that you care about both of them and are not about to drop either of them. Let them know that its not on to talk about eachother infront of you in such a manor and that they're both invited to your party because it's a celebration you want to enjoy with all the ppl you love. Don't force them to hang out with each other n make time for both, if they are your true friends they will not put you in the position of choosing between them. Good luck x

It is your party. I am sure they will be fine. We all have to learn to get along with each other even if we may never be close friends with everyone. It is great you invited them both. I am very proud of you. You show good character. Have a Happy Birthday! Everything will be fine. They want to be your friend and as such you are setting a good example for them on how to get along.

don't stress out. you should try telling each one what you reallt like about the other. But they probably dont like eachother because they feel there is only room for ONE "best friend" just invite them both and hang out with the both of them equally or just all three together. its just immaturity, they'll get over it. Good luck!

Talk to them both and explain the situation. Your birthday is about you and what good friends are they to not put all that aside for your special day? Talking makes all the difference in the world, if they don't like it, then they don't have to show. It hurts... But don't let them ruin your day.

tell them both that you care about each of them. you want both of them to be at your birthday party and instead of getting you a present all you want is for them to get along at the party. they dont have to be best friends but at least be civil and nice to each other. if they are really your best friends they will do everything in their power to do this for you on YOUR birthday.

If they're true friends they'll muster up some civility for this event. They may not ever like each other, but a real friend would tolerate the person for your sake.

that's a tough one, i'd say invite them, but keep each other apart, but then one of them would say that you're spending more time with the other one...i see jealousy between these two....tell them to just get along for the party, and suck it up

You must make peace or drop one of your friends, but it is possible that in time they will be friends.Do what you have to do.I wouldn't invite both because this could cause a big fight,so be careful and good luck.

its okay if they dont like each other but they should respect you and ur decision to befriend both of them. its okay to invite them both because this will give u a chance to see if they are really down for you. if they dont fight and put aside their differences for one night, then they really do have respect for you.
