Dance is a form of expression. Everyone's got something to express. Handicapped people's performcance would give courage to those who are about to lose their hope. It is sad that some people think that you have to somehow qualify to dance.

I think handicapped people should be allowed to do whatever they feel like they can do. If they are brave enough to get up on the stage and do this, then more power to them! Yes, I would pay to go see them--not to gawk, but to encourage them and to make a donation to their upkeep and etc.

I worked for years with persons with mental and physical challenges. Nothing is more joyful to see than to watch them conquer their challenges and enjoy doing the things the rest of us take for granted. Now I have had to retire because of crippling arthritis and I think often of the things they learned to do to enrich their lives.. These people are my heroes!

hi,
i have seen the wheelchair dancing a couple of times. it was surprisingly very enjoyable. one person in a wheelchair, their partner abled bodied. it was quite graceful as well. if you get a chance to see it, take a look-see for yourself.
in fact, i have a link to several videos of competitions for you.

More power to them for doing the activity, but I can't honestly say I'd enjoy watching it.

No, I would not like to see that at all....it would be like listening to Porky Pig trying to recite Shakespeare or even worse, "Special Olympics"
