How would you go about setting up a union and getting it certified of you were working 4 a non-union company?

I'm not going to lie, this is a homework question. I'm in my second year of university, and this is for an introductory business class.

I personally wouldn't because I've seen the bad sides of unions and don't think they are needed any longer. They were formed during a time when it was needed, but things have changed since. Since this is a homework question, I'll help you answer it though. I would contact my local union agency and talk to a representative. They would give you detailed advice on tips to get people to sign cards, etc.
