manners cost nothing and it is very rude not responding to an e-mail that someone has taken the time and trouble to write to you.

i stopped expecting it years ago, i simply say what i need to with no expectation of a reply. i figure if they don't respond they weren't that interested in the first place.

It is aggrevating, but i try my best not to get riled up over someone elses choice, because i can't control what they do.

I always respond, even the nasty ones get a reply.....especially the nasty ones !

yeah.....very rude.
then they lie and say they havent "been on" to check........i think yahoo should have it set up where you get an email stated that the receiver opened it.....then they cant lie!
