Can Bengal Loaches or Zebra Loaches live with a single Rainbow Shark? I know Rainbow Sharks are territorial and can be aggressive at times, but will a Rainbow Shark bother either of those types of loaches?

Rainbow sharks seem to maintain their own space low, as do loaches. If your tank is of good size, it should be fine...loaches, by the way like to hide. If your tank is 20 gallons or less, I would not recommend possessive bottom fish with a Rainbow shark.

I agree with MM - the aggression is mostly directed at fish that look like other rainbows. This can be other rainbow sharks, redtail sharks, or others.

The only "loach" I'd say you'd have to worry about here would be the Red Tail Botia (Botia rubripinnis ) because of the similar red fin coloration: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=2102

Just to note - loaches are social and can be "nippy" if kept as individuals.

Rainbows can be a bit testy at times but that is usually limited to territorial battles with other rainbows or red tail sharks that are marked so similarly. They shouldn't pose a major problem for those loaches.
