I can't remeber which medical collage did it, but they did a test between sexual preference and smell. They found out that human beings emitt sex pharamones which are too faint to have a smell, but our brains still sence them. They also found out that the brains of gay guys and stright women pick up on the male sex pharamone, lesians and stright guys pick up on the female sex pharamone, and bisexuals pick up on both. They couldn't answer wether or not the pharamone you pick up on is caused by genetics or is a learned trait, but if your gay don't beat yourself up. It takes all kinds of people to make the world work.

Apparently sexual preference is a genetic thing, so just go with it... It's probably a little tougher to find a date though. If you live in a city, you shouldn't have a problem. Be who you are and be proud of who you are.

Maybe its a recessive trait? Were your parents gay? If they weren't, were any of their parents gay? A recessive trait can appear in one generation but not in the next, and then reappear in the next.
