I'm an identical twin. I think I look different from my brother. I just think that I got the better end of the gene pool and stole some key features from him in the womb =). But honestly, I guess it's kind of depressing to think that you're the exact same as someone else. I think that's why twins like to think that they are different from each other. That way, life isn't so boring =). Hope that helps.

i might say no longer unavoidably because of the fact the two father and mom carry dominant and recessive genes for each pair of genes. Say as an occasion each and every discern has brown eyes--yet there's a recessive gene in each and every of their gene pairs for blue eyes. One baby ought to get the recessive genes and function blue eyes on an identical time as the different ought to get the dominant genes and function brown eyes. same for hair colour. So, technically the two little ones ought to come out looking distinctive consistent with that. And to the guy above---same twins ARE genetically an identical--they split from one egg. Fraternal twins are actually not genetically an identical. They have been conceived with 2 separate eggs.

there are 3 sets of twins in my family (through birth and adoption). my 12 yo bros are identical, but you can tell them apart, and they think they look different too. my 8 yo identical twin sisters look almost exactly alike and they don't think there are any differences but there are some. and my 5 yo twin bros (also identical), look exactly alike and i don't know what they think about themselves, all they care abou is trucks and cowboys right now.
