I was just watching the dove advert where they advertise the products for "mature" people and i was wondering do old people still shave their armpits and legs n stuff, and by old i mean like in their 60's, this might sound like a daft question but im really curious now.

All depends on the person. I remember when I was little my grandma stopped shaving her legs b/c most of the hair stopped growing back. So she only had a few hairs here and there. But I've seen some HAIRY old lady legs, and even know a 64 yr old woman who waxes her patoochie. EWWW lol. some ppl the hair roots die so the hair won't grow back. So I think the answer to your question is both yes and no.

Some do, some don't. Body hair tends to get finer as you get older, so some people don't have to as often. I think a lot of times it depends on what they did when they were younger.

You'd be surprised at how many younger women don't shave their armpits and legs and stuff. Or, if they do shave their legs, how rarely they do it. I work in a hospital and we see all sorts of hairy legs from the ER.

60 old? I know women in their 60's. One in particular could put women half her age to shame. Men and women in their 60's, especially if they take care of themselves are still very desirable, sexy, handsome, etc. The few that I know of do shave. It's the socially acceptable thing to do. I guess that other "mature" people do to. I hope that at age 60 and beyond, I too continue to maintain myself.

When you mature into the ripe old age of 60 (Oh my God!) and live your life to the best of your ability..... You can do whatever the Hell you want to with your body. Read Essence Magazine and look at the beautiful women over 60 and ask me again sista...

Firstly, I don't perceive 60's as old. I know lots of women in their 60's who seem really young.

More mature women tend to be 'with it' these days and yes, many of them do shave and wax, etc. With better lifestyles and cosmetic treatments, women are looking and feeling younger than ever.

HTH : )

Guess it depends on how they value their appearance, they don't reveal so much skin so I guess there's less point. 60 isn't that old anymore so I expect most women in their 60s do, I reckon by 80 they don't bother.

I'm not quite that old but I would say yes, if I had to guess. Probably not as often. At least I hope not.

60 is not that old - I would like to think that I would still be looking after myself at that age - I don't want to be hairy helga!
