When the phone in the kitchen broke, we started to use the one with the cord on it. That's the only phone with the cord we have in the house, and I hate it because I can't walk around, dang it!

i have a phone in my basement on the bar that is a rotary telephone its black and weighs about 15 lbs (seriously you could kill someone with it) not sure how old it is but guessing from the early 70's anyway it still works...

Yes!! The old Princess phone... really !! And of all of our phones, it is the most reliabe. So much so, I've hooked a recorder up to it.
