Your brain REALLY DOES CONTROL everything. If you are flooded with negative thoughts, negative things will happen, as you are pretty much "programming" these negative/unfortunate events.
This has affected me much of my life. I stated talking less about the bad, or trying to catch myself if I could. I would stop, and only reflect on the good or positive, because there is always positive, sometimes we just program ourselves "not to see/recognize" them. Try to Spoil yourself. Set aside time where you do only things that will enrich your life or make you feel better. Take solitary walks where you won't be intefered with, Such as the park, wooded area, trails. Ride a bike You will turn things around!!
