Time heals all wounds

Hard to digest because it is a farce, in fact I won't even swallow it. Time is not healer, what you do in the time is. The saying is attached to avoidance, externalization and hope, nothing could suck the life out of you quicker.

closely attached to....

Tomorrow is another day

Yes it is, but tomorrow also never comes. I prefer "now is a new moment" and "be the peace you seek, go within not without"

You have the most gorgeous and beautiful avatar I've ever seen! It's delightful.

Hmmm... Let's see. The hardest food for thought that is the hardest to digest that I personally have heard is the following:

"Think with your heart and feel with your mind."

I could hear it but I couldn't really feel like I could just begin to do it. Only with the passage of time has it truly nourished my spirit.

"The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives." I can go to work swearing up and down that it will be a good day, and I still go through hell. Similarly, I can believe it will be an awful day, and it will go reasonably well, if not great. My attitude doesn't seem to have much to do with the quality of my day, though it does make it easier or harder to bear.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda.

Thing that went astray in the past, we are powerless to change them and yet we regret the action taken at the time. We dwell on things that might have been and all we can do is consume ourselves and think "if only I had.....".

this one stanza from 'If' by rudyard kipling which also happens to be my favourite.
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch and toss
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says "Hold on!"

I would have to say-
"Practice what you preach"...

That I feel is the hardest one to swallow,
cuz many people can give advice, but
often times, don't take their own,,,,,

classic in itself I think.....

Your avatar is very artistic.

This to shall pass- I use to love it, until I realized it also stands true for everything.
