Well, the Bible says, "Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse her will be cursed." I don't know about you, but I'm thinkin' it might be better to be on the side that is helping Israel out now and again.

Israel believes in a free and democratic government as we do and they are a very important ally in the Middle East. They are proof that a free government can exist over there and a tremendous help to our country with the war against the terrorists!

We aid everyone always. We feed more of the world than any other nation on earth. We give more to stop AIDS in Africa (no matter what Oprah or CNN say) than any other nation on earth. And we will always support countries like Britain and Isreal that have always stood by us.

In other words, because they're "the good guys". Why would we be interested in helping someone who wants to wipe the good guys off the face of the earth? This is not a difficult concept to grasp. Oh, I forgot, they don't tell their children any nonsense about going to paradise to meet up with their contingent of 70 virgins if they will just kill themselves and as many of their "enemies" as possible, and their holy book doesn't exhort them to kill non-believers at every opportunity. Now, how you choose best answer? Hmmmm?

The Jewish lobby is one of the most powerful in the US. Also, conservative Christian groups favor support for Israel. Our policy now is support Israel, no matter what they do. The liberal media also are strongly pro-Israel. Our support of Israel is one of the reasons that the Arab people and many Muslim people hate the US. We need to have a more realistic policy towards Israel, but I don't see it happening soon.
