It vary, could be and could not be,I really don't think it has anything to do with your mom's pregnancy, everybody reacts in a different way,so I think that you can have your baby late or early or in the right due date!!!Who knows!!!

It may have been that the way pregnancy start dates were figured back then didn't pin point your mom's actual conception date correctly.

For instance. I had 31 day cycles. So using the conventional method at the time was way off. When I became pregnant the second time, My due date was August 15. But I did not deliver until 28. Everyone thought it was neat I carried twins full term plus two weeks. Well I happened to know my actual conception date as I had pain when I ovulated. I was actually by date count one week early!

With Sonograms being so accurate your due date is going to be closer to correct than the old way of figuring from your last period. imho.... although my daughter carried over by two weeks all three times!

So there you go... lol

There is a possibility, because our pregnancies tend to follow the same basic pattern as our mothers (I was one day early, and so was my daughter). However, bear in mind that our generation has better ways of determining due date, and better nutrition and health choices, which will all affect our pregnancy. While it is possible, I would say you shouldn't count on it. Better to have the baby shower done, and your hospital bag packed earlier than be caught out!

Like someone said. Every pregnancy is different.

you might but then you might not. Depends on your body.

My mother had us C-section. Doctor's told me..and sisters that we might also.

So I had my son C-section...and sister had her three kids by c-section. Waiting on the little sister to have her baby in 7 months .

Happy Easter
Best of Luck
