I wouldn't expect any problems there, you'll want to watch to be sure that none of the glofish start nipping the betta, but I doubt they will.

Just use typical tank cleaning parameters. A 25% water change once a week while cleaning the gravel with a gravel siphon. I would feed flake food as a staple and things like bloodworms, daphnia and brine shrimp as supplements to their diet. Keep the tank in the mid 70's and I wouldn't worry about the pH as both kinds of fish will do well in a wide range of pH.

I'm won't say it can't be done, bit in my opinion the danios are a little too active to be kept with a betta. I've kept both the "normal" zebra danios and glofish (the original strain) and have found them to be nippy with each other - in fact, one of my "normals" killed two of the glofish, so from my own experience, they aren't always the "peaceful" fish everyone makes them out to be. If you want to try it, I'd recommend having a tank divider handy just in case.

Glofish would have the same general requirements as zebra danios: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=941, betta requirements: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=990

Cleaning should be 20-30% of the tank volume weekly.

specific, you may shop a betta and a school of roughly six glofish in a 10 gallon, yet 15 gallons is a lot extra appropriate for the lively glofish. Glofish are training fish and could desire to be saved in communities of 6 or extra desirable or they start showing unusual habit, like nipping. Like something, this relies upon on the character of your fish. maximum bettas will stay peacefully with different non violent tankmates, yet some are extra aggressive than others and could could desire to be housed on my own. a much better aquarium with lots of decorations facilitates the two species sense gentle. Edit: issues indexed under are attainable, yet I saved one male betta and 6 zebra danios (comparable species as glofish) in a 10 gallon for years mutually. They the two skipped over one yet another.

No problem, i have a betta with 5 zebra danios. You need to start feeding the danios 1st then try and feed the bettas. If you don't cater to the betta the much faster danios will eat everything. Other than the food thing they get along fine.

As long as you keep a shoal of glofish and one male betta or even a female also, you should have very little problems. The glofish are fast and may nip at the betta's fins but the betta will not hurt the others. You can feed them the same food:flakes, tiny pellets, daphnia ,brine shrimp.and blood worms,in small amounts, A little filtration is needed, but not strong. Weekly 10% water changes and clean-up of detrius(rotted uneaten food) are recommended.

Zebras aren't aggressive and Betta cant catch them so peace and harmony will reign supreme. Do partial water changes regularly (weekly or biweekly) by siphoning out about 1/4 of the water and replacing it with fresh dechlorinated water of the same temperature. The Python or similar siphon that cleans the gravel is best. Good Luck !

Bettas can be kept with any other fish that doesn't have flowing fins and looks like a betta. THey also must be in a big enough tank. Despite what people say, bettas are peaceful fish as long as it is not with another betta or one with long fihs!!!!

It depends on the personality of the Betta. Some of my Bettas cannot be in a tank with any other fish because they are agressive, but I do have one in my community tank that is fine. They all have different personalities.

Yes, the tank should be at least 5 gallons, filtered and heated. Its should be aroun 78F and a ph anywhere from 5-9 depending on what the fish are acclimated to.
