Yep, went to sunrise service and stayed for the whole, entire church service and now I'm finally home. Thank the Lord, but I'm glad that he died and rose again for everyone's sins.

Funny you should ask, I was standing in the "toy isle" of Target last night trying to find a little trinket for the grandchildren when I heard a father on the cell phone with his wife trying to find a $70+ toy for their little boy. It hit me, the point of Easter is the resurrection of Christ from the dead, and I got real ashamed real quick. I said out loud, what am I doing? This isn't what Easter is about! And we left....what a shock, I felt like I was in a sleepy trans like all the other non-thinkers and then I awoke.

Went to sunrise service with my kids, had breakfast after at our church, went home and the kids found their baskets and eggs, and I just got back from having dinner with my parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle, and three of my sibs...not sure what I am going to do the rest of the day.

i had to work today. but i got paid double time for the holiday so i was still very glad its easter.
