Mam and Dad ... when they were alive that is. Mam's been gone 11 years on June 1st and Dad's been gone six and a half years.
It's not fair, I'm only 41, I work in a residential home where some of the people I look after have grandchildren are my age.

I have a Dad, a stepmom, an ex-stepmom that I still think of as a mom, a mom, and a stepdad, a mother-in-law, stepmother-in-law, father-in-law, and stepfather-in-law. I call them all "mom, and Dad," except for my stepdad, whom I've never met. I call him by his first name. There is never a distinction neccessary because they are never in the same place at the same time.
