Not anymore. When I was younger I was very frightened of them. Then I met a guy who had a pet tarantula who lived in a big terrarium- her name was Sheila. He helped me get over my fear of spiders, and the most important question he asked was, "What do you think they're going to do? You're thousands of times bigger."
Spiders are beneficial animals that eat all sorts of bugs. They're wonderful. I've never liked killing them, even when I was afraid of them, because it's always seemed to me that there's something going on in their little minds.
You don't need to be afraid of them. They're much more scared of you than you are of them. ;-)

You're probably scared of them because of the bad spiders like the black widow and Blown recluse give all spiders a bad name by being venomous and all.

I too am terrified of spiders. I think it is the silent, stealthy way they move around. And how they make webs and just float in mid air, waiting for someone to walk by and scare them. Also many of them are poisonous and you never really know by just looking at them. and speaking of looking at them, if you have ever seen one close up, like on tv, you see they have scary eyes and fangs and fur, they are just freaky looking, but beautiful.

The only time they scare me is when I walk into a web and it feels like I just ran into a fishermen's net.... no telling how big the spider that spun that mother might be...

ive been scared of spiders for years now. it started when i had a huge spider up my sleeve. it was disgusting!! so hairy and itchy. when i finally realised what i was, i freaked out!! there was even webs up my sleeve. im now scared of webs because they always seem to get caught in my hair, making me think that there's a spider in my hair.

Just a binch of sily ,movie takign spiders as monsters. Their more scared of you than you are of them. SO I suggest leave them alone

it is just a phobia some people have. it is called arachnaphobia. spiders do not bother me as much as snakes but i do not like them. good luck.

Nope they eat other bugs so I look at them like little recycle agents (with sometimes furry legs)
