Source: Detroit Free Press and Detroit news. Facts: Detroit has lost over a million people and now the city has little tax base.....few jobs........( Good Jobs nowhere in Detroit ) A lot of crime...( drugs...Drive by shootings...Car jackings...etc...etc..) Roads are falling apart....street lights don't work.....60% of the people in Detroit have no car insurance.....Terrible Police protection....Will Detroit ever make it?

All of that happened after it went black. More proof that socialism failed. Whites left after black housing projects were built. Only the foolish whites stayed behind. They thought that blacks would actually care about the opportunities. They didn't. Now Detroit (along with Gary, IN and Washington DC) are the most crime ridden cities in America.

Just out of Detroit? He** I'm white and had been living in Temperance, Michigan for about 5 years and I moved out of the entire state!
Temperance is 3 miles north of the Ohio boarder....about 20 minutes from Toledo.
Oh, did I forget to mention I left to go work in Iraq....working with the DoD and dealing with our soldiers 7 days a week?
Still, having been to the Motor City several times it is obvious to me that Detroit is Definitely on the Decline.

To be real... it's just the way it is. I'm from Dallas, and from experience I have seen in many neighborhoods that were once predominantly White, once some Blacks move in, they move out. The same is said for Black neighborhoods, when Hispanics move in we move out. Cultures want to be around their own and when they see another culture take over they move to be around their own.
