Plane crash in desert. Soldiers ( ? ) awaiting rescue, decide to walk into desert.
Find their own bodies and realise they died in crash, and are actually ghosts.

I remember the film, with William Shatner, was a B25 bomber I believe, trouble is cant remember the film name. The 'rescue' aircraft found a baseball pitch marked out by the aircraft.
Spooky film as far as I remember.
