Oprah has had Senator Obama on her show before, and she love love loves him. I'm not at all sure it's because he is black, but I know that when she had him on her show it was because he is somewhat of an anomaly in Washington, and because of his work to help the people he represents. I think that when he was on there his book had just come out, so I'm sure that was the official reason he was there, but his wife was there too, and they really didn't talk about the book that much.
I think that anything that has Oprah's name attached is given a huge boost. She has shown herself to be a good judge of character, and when it turns out that she was wrong, she has admitted it. When that book that she had named as part of her book club ("A Million Little Pieces") was found out to be mostly fiction, she called the author out. so, even though I don't regularly watch her show, I trust her opinion.

Are you suggesting she might publicly endorse him because he's half black?
In any case, if a celebrity/performer endorses someone (Especially this early on), does that make that candidate any better? Hardly. Performers are merely people that we 'see" a lot (Some might say too much.) and have no more authority or knowledge that the average, intelligent human being.
Too much weight is given to celebrity opinion AND status in this horribly confused and values-
mixed country. This is one reason Obama is (GAG!) a "frontrunner" and a true patriot and qualified leader like Dennis Kucinich (www.kucinich.us) is ignored!!!

with the help of examining previous fees and interviews; I found out that Oprah became barraged with threats, provides of boycotting her shows, and so forth. She is now specializing in construction a objective audience for her television station yet will quietly help President Obama. Thats unhappy. i do no longer care what President she helps. Too undesirable once you have haters you won't be able to be overtly supportive. I under no circumstances theory something undesirable approximately Chuck Norris. everybody has rights.

Endorsements of candidates generally bring more people to that candidate. Oprah has millions of fans that know her to be a woman of pure ethics - her endorsement could insure Obamas election - I hope she endorses him soon.

I don't put much weight to Oprahs opinions of anyone! I find her to be arrogant, and her opinions the same. I think her endorsement of him hurts him. I don't want to vote for color when I vote for a president, I want to vote who will do the best job, no matter what race, religous preference or party they are.

It will help him. The Oprah audience is a huge demographic, and it will certainly cut into Hillary's support.

Well, I guess it could only help him. I mean, if you watch the audience in that show, they all practically drool over her and hang on to every word she says so if she said "Jump," they'd all say "How high??" Sad, but true it seems.

He will shame the USA into embracing its KKK and lynching history. It is a maggot den, a cesspool of the devil.
The USA is a parade of global rejects unfit to be led, which is why those FKUPs end up with moronic buffoon idiots like Bush, Cheney, Gonzales and the too stupid crew.
If the USA was on fire, don't stop to piss on the flames.
Let that pile of crap burn itself out. Come back when its done and shovel the ashes into the ocean in sealed containers.
