The Smith Company makes two products, tape decks and amplifiers. Each tape deck gives a profit of $3, while each amplifier bring in $71. The company must manufacture at least one tape deck per day to satisfy one of its customers, but no more than five because of production problems. Also, the number of amplifiers produced cannot exceed six per day. Also the number of tape decks cannot exceed the number of amplifiers. How many of each should the company manufacture in order to obtain the maximum profit?

Well it's apparent that amps bring in more profits. It accounts for 95% of the income. You will need to sell alot of tape deck to earn the profits of one amp. I would make 4 amps and 2 tape deck per day. The amps usually needs to be replaced more often. How often do we replace our tape decks--when you use them back in the day.
