THe Championship ring is more precious.

Why?? Because a Championship ring means that you were the Best of the Best, the top of the league, the Champions. While just a MVP shows you are good, but that alone does not mean you are a champion...just that you are good at what you do.

A championship ring. It shows that you are not only a great individual player with talent, but you can work hard with other people and succeed as a team. A championship can lead to an MVP anyway. If you have the ability to give your team a championship ring then you will deserve an MVP. You could be the best player in the world with a million MVPs but if you can't use that talent to win your team a championship then your efforts and talent won't mean that much at all. Great players aren't remembered as much for the MVPs as much as for the championships they won for their team. Even great NBA players today who are MVP candidates (Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Kobe Bryant, etc) have all said that an MVP means nothing if you don't bring home a championship ring with it.

If you asked any NBA player they would say Championship Ring, but I bet some selfish and egotistical players would truly rather have the MVP.

A Championship Ring is more Precious though.

Without a doubt a championship ring. With a championship ring you celebrate with your team members because as a team you accomplished something wonderful and might not do it again.

Now as a M.V.P. which is nice to win you are on the stand alone and the only reason you are there is because of your team mates.

Even in track which is a team sport, but done individually the feeling is great when you accumulate enough points to say that you are a champion.

Ask anyone who has ever been a M.V.P without a championship which they would prefer.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

A championship chip ring is precios because only the players that done a lot for the team only get the ring and the MVP is just a award to the player that is so valueble to the team.

The MVP is an individual honor and is great, but the ring is a team honor and is a tangible piece of the highest possible achievement in a sport. A championship trophey, plaque, ring, whatever....that is something you keep forever that is a piece of your own personal history.

An NBA ring must be really dang sweet. Especially for those guys who have more than 1.

Depends on what a player likes. I think Kobe would think MVP would be more precious because all he cares about his individual stats. Other players would choose the championship because that show that you can play as a team, which is more important. Your team gets remebered more for a championship, not MVP.

a championship ring is for the team to share
and an mvp award is something only you can enjoy...
it depends if the person is a showboat on purpose or not if it was someone like tyson or somethin than a championship ring would be less than an mvp

MVP--only one player gets it every year, and you will always be remembered. Even a benchwarmer can get a championship ring... Just take a look at the list of MVPs and that would tell you why anyone would want to join that list.
