i have heard about it, it does sound interesting,,,, i havent read the book yet,,,,,,, but want to soon,,, the concept of thinking in positive terms,,,, i can see how that can improve life,, such as thinking " i want to be on time" rather then "i dont want to be late", still i think alot of it, is going to be your own actions, as you think in positive terms, you will make positive steps,,,,,,,, such as my example, if i am thinking i wish to be on time, then most likely i will leave in time,, and plan for delays,,,,,, as opposed to rushing out the door at the last minute

I've read the book The Law of Attraction and have seen the movie The Secret. My experience prior to reading the book was that somehow the universe was always consistent and never let me down when I trusted its way of arranging things for me, but it was hard to maintain that inner posture. Then, after reading the book, this observation was confirmed and now it feels as if i'm reaching higher levels in the sense that bigger things are happening, which requires the same trust.
It reminds me of Yoda (Star Wars) saying that we should not understimate the power of the force, and that we could do either small or big things in the same easy way. For this reason, a Jedi seems like a metaphor for people who feel this force inside and around them, and use it.
To make it short, I have become a calmer person, and have discovered a new feeling or sense of deep joy. Although I am a beginner in mastering the law, I can say that the most exciting part is trusting the universe that it will arrange things you have asked for.... and then just watching what happens.
I think the best tip I could give you here is: Don't waste your time on unhappy thoughts. Make sure you choose thoughts and actions that make you happy, and expect the good things to happen.
Wish you all the best :)

I havne't read the book, but i have heard a lot about the "Secret Law of Attraction" a lot. If you hold your power in a good place, other powers will pay attention to it. For example, there's a girl who dresses in normal clothes and stands up very straight and is always cheerful, and there's a girl who also wears normal clothing who's always slouching and looks tired. Which girl would a boy look at? Most likely, the straight-standing girl who's cheerful. This is because the cheerful girl is sending out positive waves, and the other girl, even though she might not think she is, is sending out negatives waves.
Our thought are only sparks of energy, and in Chemistry you know that certain kinds of engergy and substances attract another. Good thought energy will attract good energy from others. That's why it's called th "Law of Attraction."
I've never tried the Secret, that's just what I know about it. Have fun! Good luck!! I hope i helped!! =)

If inner happiness is the key to success, then always move with positivity and happiness. Not only will this result in an incredible happy life, but chances are people will like you more and you'll get more accomplished. Moreso than this even, I find the secret holds it's ground even on the metaphysical levels. What you focus on expands, and you can manifest anything that you want if you'll only tend to it as if it's here and constantly move with joy and positivity until it is. By letting go of the outcome, and always doing as prior stated, making sure never to reassess your position until what you've wanted to create is manifest, then I'm positive you'll have nothing but positive experience with the secret as well.

I just started reading the book. I believe your problem may lie in your statement, "I am waiting for happiness". According to the book you should believe you are happy, now. For example, I want to be happy soon or I don't want to be sad (which according to the book you are sending out negative thoughts w/that statement) is not powerful enough. You have to believe and trust to the point that you *are* happy. Instead of saying "I will be happy in the future" you should be saying "I am happy now and good things are happening to me." I think part of that is being grateful for the things that make you happy right now (flowers in bloom, the way your baby looks when she sleeps, chewable vitamins, etc).

You want happiness, you are confused because you ascribe to the methods of fear that has imprisoned people for thousands of years, and are unable to find the happiness within yourself. Rise up and behold the great light in your mind, and do not turn around until you meet your goal.

You're on the right track!! Add to that "practice" some regular meditation and exercise--they will help to "clear your energy body" and, thus, make your "practice" more potent.
Check out http://www.sahajayoga.com for support with the meditation/energy purification.
Best of luck :))

There are numerous people who would laugh at the prospect of changing their destinies. This is because it thinks that nobody gets more that what is written in his destiny.
