I was due for a period on the 2nd and I am now 6 days late. I am usually very regular. My next period isn't due till the 30th. I took a pregnancy test just because I am dying to know if I am or I am not. It came back negative. I took an equate pregnancy test and the minus sign that tells you that you are not pregnant is very faint when the other minus sign is clear as day. It should have a plus and minus sign to indicate pregnancy. Since my minus sign is faint, should I test again next month? Or when should I test again? I am just looking for a clear, positive result.

I've noticed that the Equate plus or minus test has been reporting some false negatives/positives. I would try a different brand. The digital tests are showing the same thing. It may also be that you don't have enough HcG in your system yet so try one of the early pregnancy tests that would detect a lower amount.

I would either take another test, since your still late, maybe the hormones needed time to build up, or go to the doctor and get a test run, either way it might still come back negative, even though you might be pregnant. A lady some friends know didn't test positive even with a blood test till 5 months.
Good Luck

I would wait a couple of days and retest so the hormone has more time to develp of you are pregnant. A missed period can also be due to change in diet, change in physical activity, stress, lack of sleep... a lot of things effect our menstrual cycles. I would wait a few days and test again. If it comes back a negitive I would go see a doctor.

If you still haven't started, I would suggest you test again in a week and then see your physician if it's negative.
Best wishes!
