Every ending is a new beginning.....
Consider the seasons, my dear....
The world, in its current condition, needs a new box.... Truth be known, the truth exists within us all......
Together, we all have the answers.....
I, most certainly, would.

Ginger

Of course I would. Because all life could not disappear, for then I would not know the truth (I am a lifeform) and the problem states that I would know the truth . So, the truth would be that what I was told was false.

no, first i feel it is my job to seek the truth, and for most things there is no one TRUTH, also,, i would think most people would want answers to things related to life or to humans,,,,, even after this life type things,,,,,,, so what would be the point? if you and all other life vanished? you would of only learned the history of a people who were no longer around

What is the point of knowing truth if you are not there to know the truth that is there. However what if life was the lie, is that why it disappears with the truth then wouldn't it be better to know that you are living the lie but you are not really living because it is a lie so in that case it wouldn't be better to know but then you wouldn't be living so what is the point to know.....

the problem is, when i open the box, i'll vanish either. therefore i can't get these answers even if i open the box.
and who wants these answers anyway?
life is to wonder, without questions there are no conflicts, without a conflict there is no experience, without experience, life is empty.

Since no other species clearly deserves to be wiped out and that 1 good man just might be lost out there somewhere in the 6.5+ billion, I would have to force myself to leave it shut. BUT, the temptation is very strong to open it. I reasonably certain that I don't qualify as the good man.

I'd rather look into a box that would give me good advice. I don't think I'd want to know the truth...what you don' t kow won't hurt you!!

No. I wouldn't obliterate all life just to satisfy my own curiosity. So Pandora's box can stay closed...
