I can tell u my most HATED of all cliches. It's "And the rest, as they say, is history" I can't stand that. What is the "as they say" bit for? It was a perfectly good saying when it was "And the rest is history" It didn't need to be lengthened!!
I also dislike "touching base" and "going forward" but I have been recently using "on the same page" and "hopping freaked"

That little saying, "Learn to take a joke." I hear that from one of my guy friends all the time,but he is calling me dumb and fat and ugly and everything,and I know that he thinks I'm pretty and he might have a thing for me,and I have a thing for him too,but it hurts hearing that from him even though it is a joke.I always say "Slow your roll Slim Jim." I dont know why,but when someone is getting fussy,I am like "Slow your roll Slim Jim." I looooooove that saying. (>,<)
