I told my manager, and immediate work colleagues, as soon as I found out. This was because my job involved lifting bags of coins in and out of a safe, lifting till inserts, and stretching up high on a regular basis. i had o tell them so that I could avoid lifting etc. I would tell them now as they will need to do a risk assessment with you. If you don't want everyone knowing you could ask your boss to keep it to themselves.

Congratulations !. If you dont want to make an announcement to everyone till you are past the 12 week mark, I would advise your manager and tell them you dont want it public knowledge yet. Its better to let your employer know earliar incase anything happens also your employer has to fill in a risk assesment for you to see if any part of your job or working environment could cause a risk to you or your baby. I had to tell my work collegues from day one as I had all day sickness and could not hide it I was only 6 weeks at the time. But up to you but you should let your employer know. Hope all goes well

You don't need to tell them until you are ready...but probably before you start to show. :) Wait a little longer if you need to 9 weeks isn't THAT far along. I waited until I was around 3 1/2 months.

If you are comfortable telling people I would tell the people you work with. It might be nice to have that extra support if you have those not so great days and the excitment to share with others.

its completely up to you but i would at least tell your boss so that they can look out for you as you need to be taking extra care now your expecting and there may be certain jobs at work that your not allowed to do now.
your boss wouldn't tell anyone without your permission but its also a good idea in case anything happens to you whilst your at work or if you have a fall or something.
also make sure you take all your breaks if your in a standing job sit when you can.
congrats take care.

By law, they can't treat you any different. They are obliged to give time off for antenatal appointments. However, it's easier if you're in a big company than a little one.
Personally, I'd tell, as most colleagues/managers would be pleased and supportive
