old age is the stupidist IF they are still making the same mistakes of their youth.
Early adulthood is an age when the person is still making choices and learning from mistakes and they have yet to live long enough and have accumulated enough life experience to judge completely as to the intelligence, the wisdom of those choices, this is yet to be determined way on down the line in years to come.
the accumulated wisdom and experience of the old should have taught them enough valuable life lessons so they would now be a very wise , but this is not always the case.
the same applies to young adulthood. some young adults are very wise in spite of youth because of past life experiences early on which have accelerated deep inner growth usually acquired at a later period of life.
they have used their knowledge and experiences well though their age is still young.
there is an old saying, i forget who said it " THERES NO FOOL LIKE AN OLD FOOL!"
well , an old person who is still making the same foolish mistakes of inexperienced youth is indeed the greatest of fools in my opinion.
however, any age person who has learned the wise lesson of learning from their mistakes early on and practicing this is the possessor of great wisdom! helen

Probably early Adulthood because "Childhood" is becoming a lost cause. Young kids making adult decisions, and then when they get caught in a position, they simply don't know what to do.

Early adulthood. Poor judgment and lack of experience support this.
An elderly man is a wise man, and though he cannot control certain aspects of his life, he is far less likely to actually do something considered really stupid to everyone else.

Old age. Elderly people get so stuck on their old ways they are blind to more efficient and intelligent ideas.
I also wish Elderly people would have to retake their driver's license test because 90% of them CANNOT drive.
Put a computer in front of a 12 year old and see what he can do. Put one in front of an 80 year old and you'd be lucky so see them turn the damn thing on.

Of the choices given, it would have to be early adulthood because, poor judgment is an infirmity at old age.
