when you feel sad and disappointed without any particular reason?

Everyone feels the blues now and then. I just turn on some great , "upbeat" music, or rent an upbeat movie to cheer myself up, and distract me. I close the shades, if the day is grey, and turn on all the lights to brighten things up around me. I make my favorite coffee, and get myself busy into something I enjoy doing. For me, it's crafting, gardening, or being with my horses.Sometimes I gather my dogs and cats to cuddle with, and just chill, if rest is what I desire most.. Or, I'll call a good friend to help cheer me up, and talk to me about things that will make me smile.

The thing is, you just have to realize that you're not alone, and that you CAN change your mood if you really wish to. Knowing it's normal to feel this way from time to time is important. How to change it is different for everyone, so find the things that make YOU happy and delve into them. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I get like that sometimes. Just kind of out of sorts. Put on your favorite music - something that just brings back good memories - then do whatever you feel like. Mess around on the computer, watch a movie, talk on the phone, go SHOE SHOPPING. It will pass love. :)

Usually hit the gym (gets out the frustration), then go shopping and buy myself something.

i either sing to my self~take a long bath~workout~go tanning~call my friends/ fiance~hang out with my friends/fiance~read~scream really loud~draw~go SHOPPING!!~ pray ~i do something/anything than just sitting around feeling sorry for my self which won't work! after i get motivated i feel so much better and happier!!

Get busy doing something productive. You can't improve yourself or the world around you and not feel better.

think of the song "youll never walk alone" by rogers and hammerstien then watch movies or read a book they take me away from my troubles and into another world

Believe it or not...nothing....I just sit and manifest the sadness..and the next day goes away.

Find a distraction.. I call my doggies over to me for a good scratchin' behind the ears. Or belly rub. They love it. I feel appreciated. Everyone is happy again.
