100% of the world will be affected.

"North America will experience more severe storms with human and economic loss, and cultural and social disruptions. It can expect more hurricanes, floods, droughts, heat waves and wildfires...Coasts will be swamped by rising sea levels. In the short term, crop yields may increase by 5 percent to 20 percent from a longer growing season...

Africa will be hardest hit. By 2020, up to 250 million people are likely to be exposed to water shortages. In some countries, food production could fall by half, it said.

Parts of Asia are threatened with massive flooding and avalanches from melting Himalayan glaciers. Europe also will see its Alpine glaciers disappear. Australia's Great Barrier Reef will lose much of its coral to bleaching from even moderate increases in sea temperatures.

Separately, an independent organization that keeps tabs on glacial melting in Austria's Alps said its latest survey confirms that the ice sheets continue to shrink significantly and predicted most will vanish by the end of the century.

The Austrian Alpine Association said experts measured 105 of Austria's 925 glaciers last year and found they had receded by an average of 52 1/2 feet, with one of the sheets shrinking a dramatic 262 feet during 2006."

The word "global" means the whole world. So, people who believe that our World is "warming," use the word "global" to say that 100% of the World is in danger.
If you think that only 50% is in danger, you should say "Half-Global Warming," and hope it's not our half...

100% It affects everyone some more then others. For example people here in Florida like me. The huricanes are stronger because of global warming and in a couple of years Florida may not exist anymore because of it, but now everybody is recycling more and stuff, but some people just don't care, they don't recycle, they don't get florescent light bulbs which has a benifit because it can save you alot of money and they don't think about a hybrid car which may be expensive but it can also save you money.

100%. No one will escape the effects of global warming. In some areas the climate will be better but global warming doesn't just affect the climate. Species of animals will become extinct, drinking water may become scarce, drought will cause widespread famine. Floods will leave millions homeless.

global warming is a natural part of fluctuating temperatures worldwide. It's an unproven theory that's being put forth by the same people that in the 1970s was claiming the next ice age is upon us. Fear and hysteria are wonderful tools in swaying public opinion.
