Yes, it's a great film by Terry Gilliam of Monty Python fame. It stars Jonathan Pryce, Katherine Helmond, Michael Palin and a small role played memorably by Robert De Niro. It's about a not very pleasant future with an uncaring bureaucracy which the main character, played by Jonathan Pryce, goes up against. It's very bizarre and the initial reaction of the public was sharply divided between loved it and hated it. I loved it.

Some other films Terry Gilliam directed are
The Brothers Grimm
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Twelve Monkeys
The Fisher King
The Meaning of Life
Time Bandits
and the very popular Monty Python and the Holy Grail

It was directed by Terry Gilliam (from Monty Python) and starred Robert de Niro, Katherine Helmond, Michael Palin and Jonathon Pryce.

The film is a satire on how a totalitarian government rules and how it has an overreaching control over everything.

The main character is Sam Lowry (Pryce) who is a low level worker who refuses promotions so as to not be blamed for the horrendous crimes of the government.

It was quite a wierd film.

What a great film. From the fevered mind of Terry Gilliam, from Monty Python. Very very weird.

Robert De Niro and Michael Palin stars in it and it's how a bureaucrat in a retro-future world tries to correct an administrative error and himself becomes an enemy of the state.
