There's no 'N' sound, people. The syllable 'in' in French is pronounced very close to the 'a' in 'back' in American English, except that you let more air out through your nose. So 'show-PA' is correct if you say the 'a' in 'back' through your nose. (It's not like 'pah' or 'paw.')

'Chopin is pronounced 'shō'pān' with the accent on the first syllable unless you are French then it is pronounced 'shoh-pan' with the accent on the second syllable.
Since Chopin was French, but born in Poland then lived and composed in France I should think the correct pronunciation would be the French one.

I'd probably pronounce it the same as Anna. In my accent, AH-nuh sounds like Unna, and is just way too unnatural. And reminiscent of that terrible book Deadly Unna.

It depends if you are trying to get a correct French pronunciation or simply an acceptable English one.

"SHOW"-"pan" is an accepted English pronunciation, but somewhat anglicized.

"show"-PA(NG) is closer to the French with a nasalized French -a-.
