KISS did the original......Poison came later in the 80s

KISS! They had the studio version on "Dressed to Kill" in early '75, but then had a hit with the live version from their double live album "Alive!" in 1975.

Poison did a cover for the "Less thsan Zero" soundtrack in 1987. Most of the Poison guys were only 13 when Kiss released Alive!

KISS was the one to sing it first. Poison just did a cover of it.

That was definately KISS, Poison covered in 80 summat, but KISS did it originally.

I believe that KISS was first... in the 1970's
Poison came along in the 1980's

How old are you?!?! It was KISS , my god there should be no confusion of that no matter HOW old you are! It was KISS and it was on their first album KISS but it didn't become popular until their breakout album KISS ALIVE!.

As for Poison? Jesus, you shouldn't even mention them in the same topic.

Kiss, they have been around like forever. They were popular when my Kids were growing up and now they have kids of their own listening to it..
