Glue does not stick to the inside of the bottle because of the moisture. Sometimes, when the top of a glue bottle has been left slightly open it will dry the glue surrounding the top. This happens because the exposure to outside air and lack of moisture in the top of the glue bottle. Hope this helps (:

Almost all glues require contact with oxygen to cure them... also the glass or plastic aren't reactive to water-based glues.

Two-part epoxy WILL stick to the bottle when mixed !

Other glues are truly solvents... like PVC or styrene cements.

Stickiness happens AFTER the compound comes into contact with the air.

It's not hitting the air. When you put it outside on whatever it needs to stick to, the air dries it.

theres not oxygen in the bottle to let it dry if you leave the lid off you will findit does x
