There is a big demand for nurses, teachers and engenieers in the UAE. That's also the reason why femals doings theses jobs are allowed to sponsor their families if they have a certain income.

Please be aware that most nurses working in the UAE are from the Phillipinies and the Indian Subcontinent. They are doing a great job, but they are also satisfied with a much lower salary than a westerner, coz it's still much more then what they would make back in their home country.

Life in Dubai/UAE is kind of expensive if you want to enjoy it and not only want to back and forth to work.

You need a sponsor to work in the UAE. Look for a job online first with recruitment agencies which offer health care jobs.
If you get lucky and will be hired the right visa will be arranged for you right away. Your salary package should incl. housing allowance and transportation.
Do some good calculation before you do the final move!

You can if you are getting a very good pay. Teachers in this part of the world, or for that matter anywhere in the world are not really well-paid. So if you are planning to work as a school teacher, your salary may not really fall in the minimum bracket to single handedly manage yours and your childs expenses. So make sure your salary is high enough, not only to sponsor your child but also to meet the expenditure and cost of living in Dubai.
