the uneducated generation of today buys this s**t. Your right how the hell can you write a bio on yourself at 21 when all you have done is slept with shrek and spent all his cash...there must be a market for this bollox if its getting published...stick me on a desert island like tom hanks in cast away with a friggin ball for company.

They feel the need to write (Or, more usually, get someone else to write them on their behalf,) autobiographies as they realise that they haven't done much except date a sportsman or get their plastic mammaries out for the camera. If they didn't write a book, they would fall out of the celebrity world, which they already are teetering on the verge of at the moment.

I personally don't see them as celebrities, as they haven't done anything important enough to be celebrities. Other Z-List celebrities include anyone off of Big Brother/fame academy etc. and others like Rebecca Loos(e) who claimed to sleep with a celebrity to become famous. (Mind you, I don't believe she's written a book, but who would want to read about her pleasuring a pig?)

I've never seen anyone buy these books, but they do sell, so I'd assume it's the sort of people who read the celebrity mags like Hello! etc.

your right what has coleen got to say about her life other than being the girlfriend of a footballer , my guess she has only done it to say she has made her own money and not sponging of him .
I have to say thought id read Jordan's books and i wouldn't really be into reading and for somebody her age she has done allot , her books come across very true even the wording there no polite words in then it like the real thing (what you see is what you get )the type of thing she tells you about her abortion and sleeping with two fellas at a time things like that . as i said i don't really read books but couldn't put hers down.

They do it to Cash in on their 5 minute limelight of Celebrity fame, most of us would probably do it if the offer and Money was there. I have no interest in football but if I had the opportunity to earn the wage and cash in on the promotion & sponsorship deals then I wouldn't say no!

You could make a big difference to your nearest and dearest with all of that legally gained cash!

Cos someone had the genius idea that they could make money off of it. It's all marketing and sales. The bios are rewritten to what they want, not necessarily what the author would want you to know, or not know. It's all about money, it's a business move, just like when celebs buy restaurants or launch clothing lines. Mo money mo money.
